SEWING 101 - For all AGES!

Class is open to anyone age 8 to 99. Adults to assist the student are welcome.
Let’s learn how to make a Pillowcase, Storage Baskets, and a Flannel Blanket. This is a three week course taking place.
Personalize your bed with a pillowcase made by you! Imagine sleeping with a pillow made of fabrics, colors and prints that you pick out! This simple project will get you started on your road to success as you learn how to sew.
Equipment required:
Sewing machine with bobbin, power cord, foot pedal, manual
Basic sewing supplies (sharp scissors, thread clippers, pins or Wonder Clips, seam ripper, rotary cutter, 6”x12” ruler)
Pillowcase Class Fabric Needs:
27” feature fabric
9” complimentary fabric
2.5” accent fabric

Storage Basket Class 2 fat quarters of your choice 1/2 yard of heavy fusible interfacing (i.e. Pellon 809 Décor Bond) Matching thread |
Rag Quilt Class
1-yard flannel fabric of your choice
1-yard complimentary flannel fabric

Fabric marker
Optional:
3-half yards of 3 different complimentary flannel fabrics
Thin quilt batting in poly or cotton
